Hotel Gary Cooper Haeundae

Location. Availability on same day on a weekend. Checkin a few minutes early

Size of hotel rooms were excellent, made me feel relaxed while on vacation.

Proximity to Hauendae Beach, restaurants, stores, and metro. Had a jacuzzi tub but I didn't use it. Big shower with wand and rainfall overhead. Robes. Quiet, no rowdy neighbors. Espresso machine in lobby.

The beds were HARD!!! Room had been smoked in at some point before. Only hand towels to dry off with, thank goodness for the robes (guess so you don't take their towels to the beach). Front desk didn't check my ID or credit card used for reservation, or offer receipt on checkout.

Amenities within the room were cool. I liked the projector screen that came down. The hot tub was nice too.

It wasn’t very clean, dust all over the walls, some dirt on the floor, etc. The window is blocked by a façade on the outside of the building, preventing natural light from coming in. Some of the light switches did not work, some wouldn’t turn on and another wouldn’t turn off. Finally the space could use some better lighting and decorations, considering the lack of natural light. A few art pieces and a rug would have tied the place together perfectly.

best location in Busan near Haeundae Beach, staff were always friendly and bed was comfortable. Great hotel for price!

The location at Gary Cooper was very convenient, it was right off of the main drag and walking distance to both the train station and the beach.

The hotel was very hot and hard to sleep due to the heat at night. I sweated all through the blankets and could not get the room cold enough. I tried to crank the AC down and it barely blew slightly cooler air. I even tried to do windows open, but nothing seamed to help. Also, you bring your own full size towel, you will be drying off with hand towels provided by the hotel. When the front desk was asked for a body towel, they instructed that they do not provide that.
